Why We Built This Site
Oregon gives the public access to many public records through Oregon Public Records Law, court rules, and agency-specific request processes. The hard part in Lincoln County is knowing which custodian controls the file. Lincoln County Circuit Court handles state trial-court cases through OJD systems, courthouse kiosks, and copy requests. The Lincoln County Clerk handles marriage licenses, recording, archives, plats, passports, elections, and county clerk records. The Sheriff's Office and jail have separate custody and law-enforcement channels, and city municipal courts in Newport and Lincoln City handle local citations and code matters. This site brings those official access paths into one county-focused reference.
What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Oregon court, Lincoln County office, sheriff's office, city municipal court, or state agency. There are real limits to what this site can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. This site can identify the likely custodian, but the document has to come from that office.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site available to visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
